Arrival and reception at the international airport of Lima and transfer to the hotel.

Lima – City Tour |
In the morning guided visit to the colonial city section of Lima San Martin Square, Plaza de Armas (Main Square), The Cathedral of Lima, San Francisco Monastery. In the afternoon we visit some of the nicest districts in Lima like San Isidro, Miraflores, Park of Love, Huaca Pucllana, El Olivar and Grau Square. Overnight |
| DAY 3: |
Lima – Ballestas Islands – Ica - Nazca |
We start very early with a 3 hour bus ride along the Panamericana main Peruvian road south to the village of Pisco. From the seaport we continue by boat, passing by the famous Candelabro on our way to the Ballestas Islands. Here we can observe the rich flora and fauna with its penguins, sea lions and diversity of seabirds. Snack before we continue by bus on a panoramic road towards the village of Nazca, visiting on the way some local wine yards and the oasis of Huacachina, famous for sand boarding. We arrive late afternoon at our hotel in Nazca |
| DAY 4: |
Nazca Lines |
The morning is dedicated to the exploration of the mysterious and enigmatic Nazca Lines representing animals and geometric forms engraved in the desert by the Nazca Culture inhabitants 1500 years ago and discovered by Maria Reiche. We appreciate this marvel from a bird’s perspective in a spectacular flight by small aircraft. In the afternoon we visit the Chauchillas Cemetery from the Nazca Culture and have free time to visit the Museum of Maria Reiche. Overnight |
| DAY 5: |
Nazca - Arequipa |
Early in the morning leave the hotel bus ride along the Panamericana main Peruvian road after 8 hour arrival in Arequipa located at 2325m/7000 ft. Afternoon at leisure for resting, shopping or optional visits. This beautiful white city (due to its volcanic rock constructions) has a lot to offer. We recommend a visit to the Santa Catalina Convent or one of the many museums. Overnight |
| DAY 6: |
Arequipa – Colca Canyon |
We start early our long, scenic bus ride to the Colca Canyon at 3400m (11’200 ft) probably the deepest one in the world. During our drive we enjoy some spectacular views of volcanoes, agricultural terraces and wild alpaca and vicuña herds. We stay overnight at one of the cozy lodges in the canyon |
| DAY 7: |
Colca Canyon – Arequipa |
We travel early morning to the famous vantage point of Cruz del Condor from where we have the best view down into the canyon in order to observe the majestic flight of the condors rising with the morning thermals. We have plenty of time to enjoy the valley before we return to Arequipa in the afternoon. Overnight |

Arequipa – Cusco (city tour) |
Early in the morning transfer to the airport flight Arequipa-Cusco. Reception and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon guided city tour to the Cathedral, Temple of the Sun and surrounding archaeological sites like Sacsaywaman, Q’enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay |
| DAY 9: |
Sacred Valley of the Incas |
In the morning pick up from the hotel to go along the sacred valley of the Incas in Cusco. Visit to the colorful handicraft market of Pisaq. After lunch visit the complex of Ollantaytambo.

Machupicchu |
Train ride along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes town from where we board a bus to get to the archaeological site of Machupicchu, guided tour in this enigmatic Inca complex. Overnight in Aguas Calientes town |
| DAY 11: |
Machupicchu – Cusco |
Day on your own to come back to Machupicchu and explore bit more. In the afternoon train back to Cusco. Overnight |
| DAY 12: |
Cusco – Puerto Maldonado |
Transfer to the airport arrival in Puerto Maldonado Peru’s capital of diversity. We continue to Capitanía a small river port where we board a motorized boat to cross the Madre de Dios River to get to the bungalows and have lunch. In the afternoon visit the Monkey Island observing the exuberant flora that is home to a variety of monkey species. These monkey species include maquisapas, capuchins, lion monkeys, puffins and cotos, along with other animal species like the coati, sloth and a great diversity of birds. We complete our visit of the island while enjoying the sunset the most impressive moment of any day in the jungle. Then we return to the lodge to end the day with a pleasant dinner |
| DAY 13: |
Apu Victor Lake |
Walk deep into the jungle, making our way along specially-prepared paths and canyon bridges. During our walk see Caiman’s Cave and we arrive at majestic LAKE APU VICTOR with its crystal clear waters surrounding jungle marshes and giant tree species. After several hours we return to the lodge to enjoy an afternoon lunch. In the afternoon excursion to Gamitana River on this excursion it is important to take a hat along as well as sun-block and a swimming suit. We also are able to fish and take a dip in the river before returning to the lodge for dinner |

CUSCO – LIMA |
